1.5 hrs. = Setting up Blog
First i created one on Blogger and spent about an hour looking for a layout that i liked. I was having trouble finding one that worked and tried 4 different codes for layouts. Cameron told me about Tumblr and I created an account on here. This blog site is a whole lot easier and more organized.
5 hrs. = Completing 100 bad drawings
I worked on these drawing on and off since they were assigned. I tried to touch base with multiple types of bad. Bad as in nasty, bad as in morally wrong, bad craftsmanship, bad technique, bad layout, and some other random ones.
2 hrs. = Looking up Images for Main Project
I started by looking up images Richard Avedon, a photographer (concentrating on “In the American West.” I also looked up drawn portraits in different styles and mediums.
3 hrs. = Brain Storming for Main Project
I spent a couple hours talking to Cameron, friends, and family about my idea and how I could make it more unique and original. I thought about my strengths from Drawing 1 and what kind of subject matter I. This lead me to portraits and charcoal.
